Quotes by the Author

“…Dreams come to tell us something about our lives that we are missing.” ~James Redfield

“Where Attention goes Energy flows; Where Intention goes Energy flows!” ~James Redfield

“I don’t think that anything happens by coincidence… No one is here by accident… Everyone who crosses our path has a message for us. Otherwise, they would have taken another path, or left earlier or later. The fact that these people are here means that they are here for some reason”…” ~James Redfield

“We must assume every event has significance and contains a message that pertains to our questions…this especially applies to what we used to call bad things…the challenge is to find the silver lining in every event, no matter how negative” ~James Redfield

About the book

Written by James Redfield the book discusses psychological and spiritual concepts deeply rooted in ancient Eastern traditions and New Age spirituality. It also discusses how opening oneself to new possibilities can help an individual create a connection with the divine.

The Celestine Prophecy contains secrets that are currently changing our world. Drawing on ancient wisdom, it tells you how to make connections among the events happening in your own life right now including synchronicity!

The story it tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life…and to direct your steps with a new energy and optimism as you head into tomorrow.

I have not seen this book before but I note that it is not out of place in terms of the types of books coming out at the moment but other authors such as Lisa Messenger and others.  These are the books that are ‘re-visiting’ ancient behaviours and rituals not just around the spiritual but also remedies and alternatives to the chemical laden products we deal with today.

All in all however, there is the one theme that I have seen run through a lot of them in the ‘opening yourself up to new possibilities’ realm.  I personally have gone through a bit of a sea change in the past few years after nearly killing myself in previous roles.  Part of my regeneration has been just that – opening my self up to new opportunities and thought processes including spirituality.

Thanks for your review and I will be checking this book out for sure.

Hi, this sounds like a really interesting book. I have always been interested in spirituality. I like to  watch Eckhart Tolle videos on YouTube,  I have also been interested in Buddhism for a long time, and to the best of my knowledge The Celestine Prohecy is simillar I believe.

The goal is the same, which is enlightenment.

To the best of my knowledge, enlightenment is simply being fully present in every moment.

That is so hard, as I am so addicted to my thoughts,  They are mostly positive and uplifting, and they feel good, so I feel guilty about wasting any moment not the power of my thoughts to get me closer to my goals, when in reality  should be focusing on being more present,.

This makes me a better person, and allows my life to flow more smoothly.

Thanks

Hi Jake I think you will find this book a great read, it sounds like you’re already travelling along the same path.

It takes time and practice to become really mindful of the present, you are certainly on the right track – just remember your thoughts do not define you, you are more than that.  All the best, Jules

I read the Celestine Prophecy about 10 years ago and I thought it was very interesting. After reading your post I am going to read it again and then pass it on to a friend. Yes it is a story of suspense revelations.

Hi Andy thanks for sharing your thoughts, it is definitely a book you do not forget if you have read it before. I was just thinking about that myself after finishing this review that I will read it again.

I’m sure I will learn more this time around as I am older and hopefully wiser 😉

Hello,

I can not wait to read this book, I have been reading into eastern spiritualistic practice. I believe in karma and that we all have a spiritual design.

I think there is a true meaning to life that is different for all, and each person must find their own path of enlightenment.

Julie Anne Byrne · November 20, 2019 at 10:57 pm

Hi Wes, you are right we must all find our own path and mine road will be a different one to the one you travel, that is the beauty we are all unique…how wonderful is that?

I hope you enjoy the book, Jules
